We have funded work in African countries for many years. We fund work in six African countries:  Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Uganda, Sudan and South Sudan. As a small charity, we want to focus our limited funds on projects that develop sustainable livelihoods in community settings.  We want to fund work that is strongly rooted in the community and informed by the knowledge and experience of the people who will benefit. We favour organisations that have a strong track record in delivering projects.

The last round of funding ran from 1 January 2024  until 9 February 2024.  Thanks to everyone who applied.  We are now assessing applications and this process may take several weeks.  We hope to get back to you in Spring 2024.

As this is a small charity we do not have the resources to communicate with prospective new applicants until the next application round opens. Thanks for your understanding.
